Well....we're getting ready! Two weeks from now, we'll be in India. There is a team of ten of us going on a Vision trip to India. We leave on February 13 and return on March 1.
We will experience the countries of India and Nepal and see the contrast of what happens in these predominately Hindu countries. We will be sharing an experience with the leaders of three of the conferences in this part of the world called a Round Table. We will experience the ministry of SPICE and one of the hostels for children who would not receive a quality education if it were not for this ministry.
In Goa, we will be involved with assisting in their KIDS-UP program, a ministry with children of the fishing communities. Some of our group will go to Karnataka, where they will experience the front line of church planting being done by the West India Brethren In Christ Conference.
We are excited to experience the culture and learn more about how the church in these local areas reach out to their communities.
